The Inner Sight

The inner sight, the inner vision must be cultivated. Only those with the true inner vision are truly cultivated people. Being clever is not being cultivated. Wearing nice clothes and giving fancy speeches is not being cultivated. Yukti, cleverness, is not the same as Mukti, liberation. Liberation is equal-sightedness. It is not blindness, but same-sightedness, seeing the same in all. Equal vision = the vision of equality. “All men are created equal.” All “men” are equal.

All use the same air, drink the same water, eat the same food and merge back into the same soil. All cry when they hurt and all jubilate when they feel joy. All strive as long as there is a sense of inequality. Equality is the goal. The inner vision reveals your worthiness. Knowing that others feel the same, you automatically give them their space to grow and to be. Love and respect are the only ingredients you need to live in peace with your neighbors. Love and respect come from first loving and respecting yourself and then extending those to others until all are included in this ever widening circle. It’s the circle of love and respect. It begins with the inner vision of love and respect for your Self.
